eServices is a freelance firm that develops websites and mobile applications as per client requirements or some are self-initiated.
This Privacy Policy defines how
eServices collects and uses end-users' personal and non-personal information and data in the websites and mobile applications (available for smart phones and tablets) developed by us for our clients.
Through out this document, by using the term
client it shall mean the users for whom we develop website and mobile applications. In case the applications are self-initiated, the client shall mean ourselves. And the terms,
end-users or just
users are the customers of our clients or the person who is visiting or using any of the websites or mobile application developed by us.
Compliance
This Privacy Policy is published in compliance of:

Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000; and

Regulation 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011 (the "SPI Rules")
"Personal Information" is defined under the SPI Rules to mean any information that relates to a natural person, which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available or likely to be available with a body corporate, is capable of identifying such person.
The SPI Rules further define "sensitive personal data or information" of a person to mean Personal Information about that person relating to:

financial information such as bank accounts, credit and debit card details or other payment instrument details

physical, physiological and mental health condition

name, age, address, e-mail, phone number, date of birth, sexual orientation

medical records and history

biometric information

information received by body corporate under lawful contract or otherwise

visitor details as provided at the time of registration or thereafter and
call data records.
All the above mentioned information is collectively referred to as "Personal Information."
Personal Information

eServices respects the end-user's privacy rights and recognizes the importance of protecting any information collected, if any.

The primary reason for gathering information, if any, is to improve the client's products, deals, services, website/mobile content and navigation. And also for the communication purposes with the end-users.

eServices do not provide any direct database access to the client for any activities which violates the privacy of the end-user.

In case where registrations are must for the client to render a service (eg. for shipping the products or for after sales service or for any billing reminders) to their end-users, we make provisions for the same but strictly following the data security and privacy terms. In usual scenario the data collected may include but not limited to a) Name, b) Address, c) PIN code, d) Contact number, e) Email id, f) Photo and g) Password. They are collected over HTTPS/SSL connections and passwords are stored in the database in encrypted form.

The personal data collected will not be considered as sensitive if it is freely available and accessible in the public domain or is furnished under the Right to Information Act, 2005, any rules made there under or any other law for the time being in force.

Please note that the Information shall not be shared with any third party and shall be purely utilized for enhancing the end-user experience and personalising the services.
Non-Personal Data

eServices may collect device identifier of end-users in order to accomplish push notifications ; notifications that contain information that are revelant to the end-user or that are unavoidable in the service rendered by the client.

Once the end-user permits, we may obtain additional information such as device information, location, camera (to read 1D and 2D barcodes) to personalise the experience and to accomplish the application goals.
- eServices may use tools or third-party analytics software to collect and use certain non-personal data that does not enable us to identify an end-user (we track only data such as: device type, mobile device software, data carrier, ...). Presently, eServices uses Google Analytics and Facebook Pixels to analyze anonymous aggregated usage data for our applications and for remarketing purposes as requested by our client.

Advertisers who serve ads in our applications may use technology which can uniquely identify mobile devices through their own technologies and use it to target advertising to the end-users.

Advertisers make available links through advertisements or otherwise enabling the end-users to access third party sites, tools or games. Please note that, while using such sites, tools or games, the end-users are not affiliated with or controlled by us.
Cookies
Cookies
To improve the responsiveness for our end-users, we may use "cookies", or similar electronic tools to collect information to assign each end-user a unique, random number as a user Identification (User ID or User Name or Login ID) to understand the user's individual interests using the identified computer. Unless the end-user voluntarily identify himself (through registration, for example), we will have no way of knowing who the end-users are, even if we assign a cookie to the computer. The only Personal Information a cookie can contain is information an end-user supply. A cookie cannot read data off the hard drive of any end-user. Our advertisers may also assign their own cookies to the end-user browser (if their ads are clicked), a process that we do not control.
